This Gloucester guest accommodation has been awarded a four star rating by Enjoy England and in October 2010 was given a ‘five out of five’ Food Hygiene Rating by the local Authority.

The high standard accommodation is laid out in a lodge-type setting around quiet courtyards, and all rooms are ground floor with their own front door. There are no corridors to navigate around with your luggage!
The Dark Barn is family run business with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Being surrounded by 23 acres of open countryside, there are plenty of areas for a stroll or why not take a coffee on the large decked terrace overlooking the lake.
Although fully licensed with a bar, there are several great pubs and restaurants located within a short 15 minute drive of The Dark Barn. There are also golf facilities just 2 miles away.
This Gloucester guest accommodation is suitable for all manner of guests, but proves particularly popular with businesses, social gatherings and sports teams. A great wedding venue, The Dark Barn also features conference facilities and a campsite with electric hook up and water.
The Dark Barn gastropub and coffee shop serving excellent quality food opened in September 2011. On the day we visited, the specials menu included steak and kidney pie with a red wine sauce which sounded delicious! The Sunday Lunch is particulary popular and features a choice of meats along with a vegetarian option.
